Service Engineer-Control Technology (CNC) for China

Our client is one of the most important manufacturers of multi-functional production systems for machinery processing of precision metal parts (“CNC-Machines”). The company, based in South-Western Germany and established around 150 years ago, belongs with an annual turnover of more than 450 million euros and over 2000 highly qualified employees to the best suppliers for solutions of this type. Outside of Europe, the company operates in Asia, the USA and Latin America and holds over 40 locations worldwide. Large investments in workforce, superior knowledge and numerous patents allowed the company to become a market leader.

For the location close to Shanghai, in China our customer is looking for:

Service Engineer-Control Technology (CNC) for China

Requirements:

• Degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering with focus on control technology
• Experience with CNC – control units of type FANUC and/or Siemens 840 DsL
• Experience in commissioning of (CNC-) machine tools is desirable
• Basic knowledge of fluid technology is desirable
• Willingness for a long-term employment(at least 2 years) at the production site in China
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Customer-driven thinking
• Ability to cope with stress and flexibility
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability, independent approach to work and high level of commitment

Your tasks:

• Installation of electrical, mechanical and electronic components incl. cabling
• Functionality test and quality assurance
• NC- and PLC- programming of Siemens and Fanuc control Units
• Implementation of commissioning, including start-up, functional test and rework
• Ensuring the operability of the installed software and the complete mechanics
• At a later stage: providing training for the employees
• Intensive communication with the relevant technical departments in Germany
